GCSE results 2016

25th August 2016

Another fantastic day at school as Year 11 collected their GCSE results – and there was a lot to smile about!

The girls did incredibly well with 44% of passes at A*, 73% at A* to A and 92% at A* to B – a hugely successful result.

The girls worked really hard to reap these rewards and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces and so much optimism for the future. With A* grades being awarded in a diverse range of subjects from STEM subjects to Languages, the school has proved again that a single-sex education for girls provides the best teaching and learning experience for their futures.

Eleven girls were awarded 9 or more A* grades, and four of these actually got A*s in each subject they took, which is truly outstanding. Miss Keller was thrilled with these results and was there to share in the day’s celebration with the girls and their families.
