Indoors and outdoors, girls enjoy a stimulating environment that fires up their imagination and invites them to have fun and learn through play. Our woodland area, Upnah Wood, is a firm favourite amongst our youngest girls, with its magical opportunities for outdoor learning. And our on-site theatre, The Squire Performing Arts Centre, gives them the opportunity to boost their confidence by performing on a real stage in front of a live audience!

A safe place to explore
Nursery girls enjoy the safe environment of our Nursery & Pre-School classrooms while at the same time, starting to gain independence by exploring the world around them. Our classrooms are always filled with stimulating educational toys, colourful books, inspiring displays and a cosy reading corner. The role play area is a great way to simulate imaginations and learn through play, and the messy play activities are always a firm favourite too. The girls love the opportunities to learn through the many tactile resources, water, sand, foam and all sorts of arts and craft materials.
Outdoor fun
Learning also goes way beyond the classrooms. Nursery & Pre-school children enjoy lots of outdoor space and adventure. There’s a play garden right outside the classroom, with safe and exciting equipment and activities for them to enjoy. There’s also Upnah Wood, our very own woodland area, where girls learn all about nature and the great outdoors.
Stage Presence
Our performing arts centre is such an exciting space and our youngest girls get to tread the boards in the Nativity each year. This builds their confidence and they just love it, especially when they spot their parents in the auditorium. They also get to sit in on some of the other Infant and Junior productions too.
