Education is about much more than just the academic. It’s also preparing girls for the world beyond school, for them to have a positive impact on the wider community.
Fundraising and Gift Giving
We continue to fundraise at school as every gift we receive, no matter how big or how small helps our school to provide girls with an exceptional start in life. We are currently fundraising for the following projects.
The Donor Tree
Our stunning Donor Tree takes pride of place in the Squire Performing Arts Centre, The Space, and is a beautiful way to show our appreciation of the continued support of our donors.
If you would like to buy a leaf on the tree there are four different leaves to choose from depending on your donation. Simply choose a leaf and we will engrave it with your name, or any name, message or dedication you choose. Once you have decided which project and which leaf, complete the online form here.
We will then be in touch with you to arrange the engraving for the leaf which will be displayed on the Donor Tree as a lasting and permanent reminder of your support for projects at Nottingham Girls’ High School. Don’t forget to tick the Gift Aid box to maximise your donation!

The Bursary Fund
We are committed to offering places and opportunities at the school to girls from all backgrounds. We are determined to increase the number of bursary places we offer in order to provide such opportunities and can only do this with your help.
The Bursary Opportunities Fund
The Opportunities Fund supports girls who are on bursaries and gives them extra help in being able to participate in our fantastic Outdoor Learning excursions. Money from this fund is used to subsidise the cost of certain trips to enable inclusion for all of our girls. We know that these opportunities have a positive impact on each girl’s development including building her confidence, resilience, teamwork skills and a lifelong love of the outdoors.
The School Projects Fund
This fund is to support small projects at school at the Head’s discretion, such as providing future equipment for The Space, development of outdoor learning provision in Upnah Wood and further investment in both music and sport.
Thank you for your support!
