State of the art facilities
In a school where we aim high and dream big, we’re proud to have the very best facilities.
21st century classrooms
From the technology we use inside our classrooms to the spaces we inhabit outside them, we’ve invested heavily in everything the girls need for an extraordinary education.
Evolving teaching and facilities
Education has evolved over the years, and we are at the cutting edge of modern teaching techniques. We have market leading technology in our classrooms, superb equipment in our Design and Technology studio and many state of art Science labs. Girls are also issued their own iPads to help facilitate modern methods of learning and use them alongside our IT equipment throughout the school.
The Squire Performing Arts Centre
The Squire PAC is our very own state-of-the-art performing arts centre. It’s a fully-functioning 260-seat theatre, complete with stage, auditorium, orchestra pit, dressing rooms, a green room, dance studio and full technical facilities. It’s the perfect place in which to learn and perform the skills that are so important in any career – creativity and confidence. We work in collaborations with professional arts organisations which brings incredible opportunities for our pupils too, from workshops to productions and live performances.

Sports facilities
Our sports teams and clubs are hugely popular with our girls, who have the chance to try out a huge range of activities. Our newly refurbished 1875 Sports Centre can support all of them; from netball and cricket to archery and climbing. Our fitness suite is a popular space for older girls, and our Sports provision is deliberately varied to ensure every girl enjoys physical exercise in a way that inspires her to continue throughout her life. As well as the traditional sports, our girls enjoy Zumba, yoga, rowing and Pelaton.
We have excellent links with both Nottingham Forest football ground and Trent Bridge cricket ground, and our rowing club frequently makes use of the facilities at nearby Holme Pierrepont, the home of the National Water Sports Centre.

Outdoor learning
Embracing the adventure of the outdoors brings a whole host of benefits, so we encourage our girls to get out into nature. Our Upnah Wood outdoor space incorporates a low ropes course, cargo nets and a firepit, while our climbing wall offers a confidence-boosting challenge in a safe environment.
There are countless opportunities for our girls across all year groups, including Duke of Edinburgh, adventure expeditions and challenging trips. These adventures are what memories are made of, and they also set girls up with the confidence and resilience to excel in the world.

School dogs
Not strictly classed as a ‘facility’, but still part of the furniture! Our two school dogs, Saffy and Delilah, are a source of joy to our staff and girls alike.
