Erin Alvey Porter

Erin joined us in Year 11 to do her A-levels having been awarded the Mason Bursary award. Achieving an A* in English Literature, alongside A-levels in Biology and Chemistry, she is off to her first choice of Leeds to study Eng Lit. 

A new student to our Sixth Form, Erin has used this experience and the skills she learned in her previous school, to become a Year 11 Transition Prefect, helping new students in Years 12 and 7 to settle in. She then joined our ‘Big Sister, Little Sister’ mentoring program introducing Year 6 students to Senior School life.  

As a highly enthusiastic and extremely insightful student, Erin attended anatomy and dissection clubs alongside her timetabled lessons. She also took part in the Royal Society of Chemistry Schools Analyst Competition 2022, expanding her existing chemistry knowledge and aptitude for analytical science as a part of a team.
