On Thursday 15 September we held our annual Celebration and Awards evening at the Albert Hall in Nottingham to acknowledge the amazing achievements of our GCSE and A-Level girls over the past year.

It was a wonderful occasion enjoyed by all who attended. There were some fabulous performances by our talented choir (including the staff choir of course) and musicians, and great speeches by the outgoing Head Girl and her successor.

She then presented the girls with their well-earned awards for their GCSE and A-Level achievements and any special accomplishments – how proud we all were.

awards-193The school itself was the proud recipient of a very special award – the Lord-Lieutenant’s Award for Voluntary Contributions – being one of the first schools to receive this recognition. This was a great way to acknowledge the vast amount of charity work and volunteering hours that our girls and staff put in, year after year.

It was a fabulous evening and there are lots more photographs in our flickr album.
