On the penultimate day of term at the end of the school year, we held an amazing Curiosity Day.

After the success of our ‘Learn something new in 140 Minutes’ event last year to celebrate our 140th anniversary. we decided to run a similar event to round off this school year.

A whole array of fantastic classes were organised in order for girls to expand their horizons and satisfy their curiosity about new learning experiences. There were so many to choose from, based loosely around an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme. From forensic analysis in Chemistry to discover who stole the tarts, to a dramatic courtroom trial of the suspects, there was an awful lot going on throughout the day.

Unfortunately the rain put paid to the planned outdoor tea party which had to take place in the Sports Hall instead. This didn’t dampen the girls’ spirits – they had a fabulous time and the whole day was declared a marvelous success. Take a look at the gallery to see what we got up to:
