The Junior Football Team were given the chance to replay the City Schools’ Final on Thursday at Nottingham Forest’s stadium, The City Ground.

This was a 7 a-side match against Sycamore Academy played width-ways on the pitch. The team arrived through the players’ entrance and entered the pitch through the tunnel, to the tune of their names being announced over the microphone. They played brilliantly, with a goal scored in the first half and two goals in the second, finishing with a 3-0 victory. The girls were cheered throughout by their fans in the stands and really put on a show of resilience and creativity against a team quite a lot bigger than them! All were presented with medals at the end to top off a truly fantastic experience – well done girls, and thank you Mr Cooper for training them so well!
