Our performing arts centre, the space, was officially opened in 2016 and has already been the setting of some brilliant school productions. In addition, we have now also officially launched ‘the space’ as a venue for business and networking opportunities.

Representatives from local businesses and arts organisations, along with parents and School Governors, attended the launch event on Tuesday 3 October. They heard from Julie Keller, who outlined what an amazing facility this is, and how she hopes to engage the local business and arts community by offering the use of the space for any number of events including lectures, conferences and performances.

Julie said: “I was really pleased to welcome everybody who came along to the launch; we made some great contacts. This is such a fantastic provision we have here at the school and we love showing it off, but it’s important to us that we share this resource with the local community and businesses too.”

The venue is a fully functioning theatre complete with professional sound and lighting equipment, a seating capacity of over 200, a large, bright foyer area, breakout space and dressing rooms, and a bar.

We’re very proud of our standing in the community and always eager to contribute whenever and wherever possible, and we hope that offering the use of this facility will further strengthen bonds and create mutually beneficial networking opportunities.
