Members of our alumnae community and former staff joined us for a reunion event on Saturday 18 June.

It’s been three years since we were able to hold an alumnae reunion event in person, so it was really special to welcome former staff members and alumnae back to the school for a reunion. It was especially nice to welcome some alumnae who had not been back to the school for a very long time and who left in the 1960s.

Old friends greeted each other and marvelled at how much the school had changed, though were delighted to know that our ethos is still the same as ever. They heard about all of the amazing things that our students go on to achieve in the wider world and how proud they make us.

It was lovely to see our guests looking through some of the archives out on display and finding themselves in old school photographs – such a lovely trip down memory lane. And our Sixth Form helpers were fascinated to hear stories of school days from so long ago. After a delicious lunch our visitors were welcome to have a tour of parts of the school to see what had and hadn’t changed. They were all especially amazed by the performing arts centre and what a fantastic and professional theatre it is.

We always love to see our alumnae and former colleagues at such events, or even just individually if they’d like a tour. We’re all part of one big family and every member is always welcome.
