Our Senior School Taster Day on Friday 23 March was a huge success, and it’s traditionally one of the best days in our Open Events calendar, so we decided to hold another on Friday 6 July.

The day is organised for girls currently in Year 5 who would like to find out what our Senior School is all about. They have the opportunity to enjoy some challenging lessons, explore our superb facilities and take part in some fun activities in our Outdoor Learning spaces. They get to make friends, meet our staff and generally get a feel for the very special, warm environment of the school. Just take a look at some of the pictures from our last taster day in March:

We know that choosing a Senior School in an important decision, which is why we like to invite girls to join us for a day to get first-hand experience of what our school has to offer. There are opportunities for parents to hear our Head, Julie Keller, as she shares her vision for the school and passion for girls’ education, and explains just what makes our school such an exciting and empowering environment for girls.

We’re proud of our excellent academic successes, such as achieving the top place for GCSE attainment results in Nottinghamshire last year, and also of our holistic approach to education; our pastoral care and extra-curricular activities are exceptional. We focus on helping girls play to their strengths, which means they are supported in choosing the path that is best for them. We help them to succeed, not only academically but also by providing broader opportunities beyond the classroom and right through to the workplace and the future.

Nottingham Girls’ High School is the only all-girls independent day school in Nottinghamshire and is part of the Girls’ Day School Trust, which offers phenomenal opportunities because of its strong network of pupils, experts and alumnae across the country.

We’re always delighted to welcome visitors to the school and the Senior School Taster Day is a great opportunity to find out more. Click here to book a place or call Sue or Katie in our Admissions Office on 0115 935 4444
