Libby Manktelow

As Head Girl, Libby has contributed to school life both in and outside of the classroom. From her academic success to being a role model for our younger girls, Libby embodies “the GDST Spirit” that we’re so proud of.

Excelling in science from an early age, Libby participated in the Royal Society of Chemistry Schools Analyst Competition 2022, as well as the International Biology Olympiad and the Intermediate Biology Olympiad where she was awarded Highly Commended. 

She topped her success at school by achieving As at A-Level, in Biology and Chemistry and an A* in Geography. She’s now taking her place at University of Durham to study Natural Sciences. Congratulations Libby, and thank you for your stellar contribution to our school.
