The adventures start here

Girls learn so much through adventure and we love seeing them grow in confidence, resilience and spirit.

We don’t just deliver lessons inside and outside the classroom, but beyond the school gates too. Our trips have taken girls back in time or into space, down to the beach or even across the sea. Girls horizons are as broad as their imaginations, and at NGHS there is absolutely no limit to learning.

Home and away

Our school buzzes with lively activity and friendly chatter. There is always something exciting happening and new adventures to enjoy.

Maybe it’s conquering the climbing wall or identifying a creepy crawly in Upnah Wood. Perhaps somebody has made the best pizza ever in our very own outdoor pizza oven, or taken Delilah for an extra special walk. Or maybe the girls are looking forward to a sleepover and a movie in the Junior School Hall! These exciting activities are always on offer at school, and further afield there is even more adventure to be had.

 

 

Expanding horizons

Even our youngest girls have the opportunity to enjoy school trips and bring learning to life in exciting settings from farms to stately homes. Their fearless nature emerges, often on their first residential trips experiencing time away from home and enjoying daredevil activities like whizzing down a zip wire or swinging from a trapeze.

Music and Sport often take our girls overseas too. Whether it’s hockey in Holland or a choir tour to Paris, our offer of exciting opportunities is outstanding. The girls learn so much from these adventures. They return happy, inspired and hungry for more; and we don’t disappoint.
